The Earthly Branch Punishment (地支相刑) represents punishing or conflicting relationships between Earthly Branches. Unlike open conflict, punishment is often more subtle and can be self-inflicted.

The Four Punishments

Four types of punishment:

• Zi Xing (子刑): Zi - Self punishment
• Chou Xing (丑刑): Chou + Xu + Wei - Three-way punishment
• Yin Xing (寅刑): Yin + Shen + Hai - Three-way punishment
